Battle plan: Shrines Set Ablaze
• At the start of round 2, prior to rolling initiative dice, the players roll off. The winner must chose an objective to be Ablaze for that round.
• At the start of round 3, the previous objective is no longer Ablaze. Additionally, the other player (the player who lost the initial roll on the 2nd round) must chose a different objective to be Ablaze for that round.
• At the start of round 4, the objective is no longer Ablaze. The last objective, which was not selected in previous rounds, is now Ablaze.
TWIST:
At the end of battle rounds 2, 3 and 4 , prior to determining control of objectives, all fghters within 3” of the Ablaze objective take 2 damage points.
Do not remove objectives, even if they were Ablazed.
SCORING:
Victory points are scored during rounds 2, 3 and 4 as follows. You can score a maximum of 3 VP per turn for Kill and 3 VP for Control (6 in total).
Kill:
• 1 VP is scored each time an enemy fghter is taken down
• an additional 1 VP is scored for each case when the enemy fghter is taken down and does not share your opponent's faction runemark (thralls, allies)
Control:
• 1 VP point per objective you control
• 2 VP if you control the objective that is Ablaze in current round
• whilst you can only score objectives from round 2 onwards, you can control them in round 1
VICTORY:
The battle ends after 4 battle rounds.
The player with the most Victory Points wins the battle. Any other result is a draw.
