Lore:
The eminent Slann Starmaster, the Great Ch'wumba-Wumba, stirs from his long meditation. He is beset with visions of an equally magnificent and terrifying beast awakening within the heart of the Vexothian Mountains within the realm of Ghur. Half in trance he mutters this prophecy to his Skink attendants, before slipping back into catatonic torpor.

The Skinks deliberated long over their Slaan's half spoken portent. Was this creature a fledgling God-beast, a new Chaos entity, or the amalgamation of Ghur's wild magic's? Was it potential ally or future foe? Whilst this was uncertain, what was clear was their Slann's request for mighty Seraphon of sacred spawnings to be sent to the birthplace of the Beast and, most surprisingly, that they need to be led by the the lowliest of Great Ch'wumba-Wumba's priests, Xiki-Taka.

Xiki-Kata (no relation to Kixi-Taka) is the low ranking Skink Priest chosen to lead this warband of Seraphon. Bequethed with an eldritch Old One artifact, Itzl's Starstone, he is tasked to use it to bind the Beast, the foretold great predator of Ghur.

Guarding the Skink Priest and marshalling the rest of the warband is the Saurus Oldblood, Tlak-Kroq (no relation to Klaq-Trok). Bearing the sacred spawning of war-like Tlanxla, Tlak-Kroq is blessed with overwhelming might and adorned with celestite armour, the Mantle of Tlanxla, to denote his station as a master war leader.

Beneath Tlak-Kroq are his chosen warrior's, three Saurus birthed from the same spawning pool, Tenq-It, Blok-It and Hault-It. Blessed with the sacred spawning of Quetzl, their scaly hides and barbed protrusions grant them a level of resilience beyond that of even regular Seraphon.

Finally, a venerable Kroxigor Warspawned, Ga-Tor, also joins the warband. Ga-Tor is renowned for a ferocity more potent than others with the sacred spawning of Sotek. He is aided by Cepix (no relation to Xepic) a Skink that serves as interpreter and loyal care-taker, for which they share a deep bond. Wherever Ga-Tor goes he is followed by Venomites of Sotek. This swarm of jungle creatures often displays an unusual level of awareness and independent thinking, as if possessed by some greater power.

With the warband assembled, Xiki-Kata goes forth to either tame the Beast or slay it, preventing others from harnessing it's power. For he is his Slann's will and by extension part of the Great Plan, incarnate!
