• Battle plan: The Gilded Lure

OBJECTIVES AND TREASURE
Before the battle, one objective marker is placed in the centre of the battlefield and 4 treasure tokens
are placed on the battlefield four as shown on the deployment map.

All fighters have access to the following ability unless they have the monster runemark:

[Triple] The Trap is Sprung: A fighter can only use this ability if they are within 3” of the central objective.

All treasure tokens not currently being carried by a fighter are treated as “fighters carrying treasure” for the resolution of this ability.

For each fighter carrying a treasure, roll a dice. On a result of 3+, that fighter makes a bonus move action directly towards the centre of the battlefield, as if they were jumping, a number of inches equal to the value of this ability. When doing so, they can move away from enemy fighters within 1" at the start of that move action. This bonus move action does not trigger reactions.
_______________________________________

PRIMARY
At the end of each battle round, each player scores 1 victory point:
● If they control any fighters carrying treasure.
● If they control two or more fighters carrying treasure.
● If they control more fighters carrying treasure than
their opponent.

SECONDARY
The Pulpit’s Thirst: The first time in a battle round that a fighter within 6” of the central objective is taken down, the opponent of that fighter’s controlling player scores 2 victory
points.

TWIST
How it Glitters: After the initiative phase each battle round, if one player has fewer victory points, that player can pick any fighter. That fighter immediately makes a bonus move action directly towards the centre of the battlefield, as if they were
jumping. When doing so, they can move away from enemy fighters within 1" at the start of that move action. This bonus move action does not trigger reactions.

VICTORY
The battle ends after 4 battle rounds. The player with the most victory points wins the battle. Any other result is a draw.
