Battle plan: Mountain Pass Ambush

You have travelled for days with only the harsh environment as your obstacle. Suddenly you spot a pack of foul beasts about to pounce on a rival warband.

Place 4 tokens on the battlefield as shown on the map as if they were objectives. For each player, the 2 tokens farthest from their Shield deployment group are considered a WAY OUT.

A model may not deploy or end a move or disengage action within 2” of a token that is not their WAY OUT.

Each time a fighter ends a move action within 1” of a WAY OUT, remove that fighter from the battlefield, and the player controlling that fighter scores 3 points. Each time a player takes down an opposing fighter, that player scores 2 points. Chaotic beasts do not count as opposing fighter, for this purpose.

The battle ends after 4 battle rounds, and the player with the most points is the winner. A tied score results in a draw.

In addition at the end of the battle, if the leader of one warband was taken down and the leader of the opposing warband was not, the player whose leader was not taken down scores +1 point.

At the beginning of the first battle round, starting with the player who did not get initiative, each player take turn to place 1 chaotic beast wholly within 3" from the battlefield edge and more than 6” from the nearest opponent fighter. They do so until there are a total of 3 chaotic beasts on the table. Each model should be worth 90 points or less. These models are not considered part of any warband, but can be controlled using the special rules for chaotic beasts.
